In addition to gathering in one place the best international and domestic experts from the world of gastronomy, hospitality, mixology and the world of wine, oil and coffee, the Weekend Food Festival will in its second edition expand its horizons to the sectors of production and retail of food products. The synergistic upgrade of the rich program and the quite natural connection of these interwoven sectors will be provided by Ja TRGOVAC magazine and portal, whose team will take care of the program dedicated to retail and the consumer goods industry. Certainly, all lectures and panels will focus on food and all the guidelines that this broad category generates. This is how researchers from the renowned market research agencies NielsenIQ, GfK and Ipsos will talk about her majesty of food, each of whom will shed light on different market trends current at the moment. Analysts from the specialized consulting company Smarter will show us the prospects for the development of the Croatian food industry, and significant attention will be devoted to the burning issue of food waste. As part of the program, numerous panel discussions are planned that will bring together the main actors in order to have the opportunity to hear first-hand their thoughts and perspectives of food production and retail in 2023, which is undoubtedly full of challenges.
